NFL Senior Advisor to the Commissioner
Joe Browne is a senior advisor to Roger Goodell, a position he has held since April 2010. He is the longest serving employee ever in the NFL office, beginning his work with the league in 1965 and becoming a full-time employee in 1970. Browne is on the Board of Directors of the Pat Tillman Foundation, USA Football, and the NFL Youth Football Fund. Browne’s responsibilities for the NFL have ranged from media relations, public relations and community affairs as well as serving as chief liaison in Congressional, military and over government-related matters.
