Lou Ferrara ’92

Lou Ferrara is the Chief Content Officer for Bankrate.com. He was formerly the vice president and managing editor of The Associated Press, where he oversaw a newsroom portfolio that included coverage of sports, entertainment and business news, plus social media, digital news products and major events such as the Olympics and the World Cup. Lou also previously worked at the New York Times-owned groundbreaking newspaper in Sarasota, Fla., where he served as a police and courts reporter and city editor before becoming general manager of the paper’s 24-hour cable news station and award-winning Web operations. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1992 with a degree in Journalism.
