APSE Region Meeting Coming to Knight Hall

APSE (Associated Press Sports Editors) will hold its Mid-Atlantic Region Meeting in Knight Hall on the University of Maryland campus from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 10.

The day will consist of three panels and a jobs workshop and will feature some of the top sports reporters in the area, including The Washington Post’s Dan Steinberg, Emily Giambalvo, Rick Maese and Matt Vita.

The event is free and open to Merrill students, who are encouraged to bring resumes.

Here’s a look at the full schedule (all events will take place in the Roberts Room, 3202):

10 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Welcome/meet and greet

- Coffee/pastries will be provided

10:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. First panel: Easy social distribution is a thing of the past. What’s next?
