The Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism at the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism is excited to announce the schedule for its sixth annual summer camp, which will take place July 8-12.

The Shirley Povich Summer Journalism Sports Camp has become one of the most popular camps for high school students interested in sports media. Students are taught by professionals in the field and will be able to gain valuable hands-on, real-world experiences.

Here’s a look at what our campers will be up to this year:

MONDAY, JULY 8

9-9:30am: Check-In & Breakfast (Knight Hall Atrium) 

9:30-10am: Welcome & Overview (Eaton Theater – Knight Hall 1208)
